Our client is looking for an SAP Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of a complex SAP implementation within a challenging and dynamic project environment.

This role demands a seasoned professional with deep expertise in SAP implementation, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to navigate and influence at the C-suite level. The ideal candidate will excel in managing budgets, timelines, and stakeholders while fostering collaboration and driving results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a complex SAP implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project scope.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive program plans using MS Project, defining clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Establish and enforce best practices in project management within an immature project environment, driving structure and accountability.
  • Engage and influence C-suite executives and senior business stakeholders to align program goals with organizational priorities.
  • Manage challenging stakeholder dynamics, facilitating effective communication and resolution of conflicts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
  • Oversee program budgets, including capex and opex, ensuring accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage financial risks, deliver cost optimization strategies, and ensure compliance with financial governance.
  • Provide regular financial updates to stakeholders, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Proactively identify program risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain program health metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment on project objectives.
  • Manage resource allocation, ensuring optimal team performance and delivery quality.
  • Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, with a strong focus on SAP implementations.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex SAP projects in challenging environments.
  • Expertise in using MS Project to manage and track detailed project plans.
  • Extensive experience managing budgets with a strong understanding of capex and opex principles.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging and influencing at the C-suite level.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.G., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in immature project environments.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
