Your role as a Junior Mechanic, under supervision :

Assist in the investigation of the cause of failures and verify the operation of machinery for defects and failures.

Assist in determining the nature of defects and failures, using computerized control equipment and other test equipment, to specify the extent of repairs to be performed.

Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.

Test repaired equipment to ensure that it is working properly and that repairs are in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.

Clean and lubricate equipment and perform other routine maintenance.

Complete the required training.

As an ideal candidate :

Have or be in the process of obtaining a DEP in agricultural mechanics, in a related field or experience deemed equivalent

Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic knowledge

Strong analytical skills and good manual dexterity

A valid driver’s license to work on the road

You are :

Skillful, precise, and well-done work is important to you

Independent, resourceful

Recognized as a pleasant and collaborative person

Clean, safe, and tidy

Available to work on a Saturday morning punctually and being on-call for our emergency service (in rotation)
