Role Overview:

Reporting to the Manager, HR Administration, the HR Administrator will be responsible for providing a range of administrative support to the HR Team. Responsibilities include processing employee transactions and supporting the HR team on a range of initiatives while improving processes and practices.

What you will do:

  • Manage all incoming internal employee requests providing timely responses to internal client inquiries, assigning tickets to HR team members, analyzing data trends, and providing recommendations and actioning improvements
  • Maintain employee data and files in the HR information system (HRIS) system including tracking updates and issuing changes while ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Assist with reporting including regular and ad hoc reports and presentations on HR metrics in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Assist with the development and documentation of internal HR processes, Standard Operational Procedures and HR policies and procedures
  • Support Payroll Administration including providing administrative support to the Payroll and Benefits Specialist
  • Administer group health benefits and RRSP/DPSP program including enrollment, reporting employee premiums, managing deductions and contributions
  • Liaise with benefit providers to address member questions and discrepanciesContribute to the team by supporting the VP of HR and HR team with assigned initiatives, projects and ad-hoc HR related activities including presentation development and new program development and execution

What you bring:

  • A University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a similar field
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years' working experience in Human Resources
  • Possess or be actively pursuing a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation
  • Positivity, energy and proactivity
  • A customer-focused, solutions-oriented approach, always looking for ways to make improvements and add value
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with solid attention to detail
