Overview:
Our government client in Regina, SK is looking for a Senior Network Analyst for a 10-month contract with the option for 3 x 1yr renewals, reference #C19002817. This position can be 100% remote.Our client is currently looking for a Senior Network Analyst to integrate and support multiple network capital-based projects. The Senior Network Analyst responsibilities will include managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, with many stakeholders and many complex needs. The Senior Network Analyst will report to Manager of the Core Network and will provide the required decision and project management support to ensure projects stay on time and on budget. This is a highly visible, busy, and challenging role that will be focused on supporting network capital projects.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist with implementation and support hardware associated to the WAN router replacement

  • Assist with implementation and support of new data center Networking Infrastructure

  • Assist with implementation and support facility-based network access control (NAC)

  • Assist another Senior Network Analyst on other projects

  • Operational Support as required

  • Mentor Network Analyst as required

What you must have:

  • Current valid CCNP certification.

  • Minimum five (5) years recent and practical network administration experience and design/architecture experience.

  • Network Infrastructure Mastery: Proficient in configuring Layer 3 Spine and Leaf data center networks using VXLAN and BGP EVPN.

  • Network Security: Proficient in implementing network security best practices to safeguard critical infrastructure.

  • VPN Technologies: Skilled in deploying and managing Cisco Remote Access and L2L VPN Technologies for secure connectivity.

  • Troubleshooting Acumen: Demonstrated skills in identifying and resolving complex network issues efficiently.

  • Cloud Expertise: Sound knowledge of Microsoft Azure – IaaS and experience in integrating on premise environments with cloud platforms.

  • Load Balancer Administration: Ability to configure and administer load balancers effectively for optimized network performance

  • Cloud Integration: Ability to seamlessly integrate on-premise environments with cloud-based architectures for holistic network solutions.

  • Project Implementation: Proven track record of implementing network technologies to support organizational projects.

  • Collaborative Skills: Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring cohesive and effective networking solutions.

  • Protocol Expertise: Strong command over BGP and OSPF protocols for seamless network operations.

  • Routing and Switching Skills: Proficiency in Cisco switching and routing technologies to ensure smooth data flow.

  • Enterprise-Level Understanding: Comprehensive understanding of enterprise-level networks to address complex infrastructure needs.

  • Firewall Management: Experience with Cisco Firewalls, ensuring robust network security and access control.

  • Experience in ITIL and Change Management

  • Expertise with LTE and satellite technologies

  • AWS Knowledge: Understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its application within network environments.
