Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting operations of the company, including accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
  • Responsible for oversight of monthly financial statement close procedures, including quarterly and annual reviews and adjustments, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses
  • Drive the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • Manage audits of the business by working closely with external auditing firms at all stages for the purpose of ensuring accuracy in reporting.
  • Oversee cash management activities, including cash flow forecasting
  • Develop and maintain internal controls for accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting policies
  • Implement best practices and technology to automate and streamline financial processes
  • Provide and support analysis on financial results for management
  • Review key performance metrics (financial and business metrics) to improve existing reports and develop new reports
  • Optimize tasks to increase efficiency and accuracy, include driving the design of automation for the business
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior management and senior leadership, offering financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting plus a CPA designation
  • 10+ years of experience showcasing progressive growth
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex accounting topics into understandable summaries.
  • Proven experience in fostering strong working relationships across the businesses, and work proactively to identify opportunities for finance to act as a strategic business partner
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to see the “big picture” in a complex and changing business environment
