Job Summary

This is an exciting time to join the Total Rewards team as we transform our compensation and benefits programs into an integral part of the employee offering and kick off implementation of new HR systems. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, the Total Rewards Consultant is a key role to support, progress and enhance compensation and benefits programs.

Initial Priorities:

  • Coordinate and assist with pay equity compliance initiatives and help build sustainable processes to ensure compliance.
  • Provide compensation and benefits support on a new system implementation and transition activities; provide subject matter expertise on compensation and benefits administration.
  • Assist with evaluating current Total Rewards processes and tools and the implications with a new HR system and third-party providers; develop and recommend processes that align with new systems and providers.

How you will make an impact:

  • Support the day-day administration of compensation programs including external market surveys, internal analysis, and job evaluation.
  • Consult and advise with Business Partners in supporting the organization’s ability to attract, retain and engage talent.
  • Prepare comprehensive analytics, metrics and reporting to support effective total rewards decision making.
  • Collaborate on compensation and benefits projects, including the evaluation of current programs and the development of new programs.
  • Play a key role in the transformation of our job architecture and job levels, including benchmarking of salary and variable pay practices.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the management, education, and review of our variable incentive programs.
  • Support the annual compensation processes, including merit increases and variable incentives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on group benefits plan administration to ensure timely and efficient program operation.
  • Work with group benefit and retirement vendors to ensure effective plan management and problem resolution.
  • Keep abreast of all applicable legislation and ensure compliance of all Total Rewards Programs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • 3-5 years of total rewards experience with a strong focus on compensation
  • Some exposure to benefits administration preferred.
  • Exposure to project management and change management skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Energetic, results-oriented, and innovative about continuous improvement
