Your Opportunity

Our Regina office seeks an Insolvency Advisor to join the Personal Debt Solution team. This position entails maintaining an in-office presence by completing the following duties:

  1. Perform initial consultations to assess the debtor's situation and recommend appropriate options; training will be provided.
  2. Assist debtors and creditors, both in person and by telephone, as it relates to bankruptcies and proposals.
  3. Review interview forms, and prepare files/documents for client signing.
  4. Community outreach, business development, presentations, and use of social media to promote personal debt solutions offerings.

Your experience and education

  1. 2 years or more in Customer Service, financial services insolvency, banking, credit counseling, or other relevant area.
  2. Great interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members, debtors, and creditors.
  3. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in various situations.
  4. Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Takes personal ownership and responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
  7. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  8. A team player who can also work independently.
  9. Previous insolvency experience (asset but not required).
  10. Available to work one evening shift a week until 7:30pm.
