The successful applicant will have the energy, commitment, motivation and experience required to teach all levels from Foundation (pre-apprenticeship) through to 4th year apprentices in all areas of the industry including transportation, construction, forestry, mining, and manufacturing.     • Heavy Duty Equipment Technician – Certificate of Qualification with Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement
    • Minimum 5 years recent experience working in the industry as a journeyperson
    • Minimum of one year in a teaching, leadership, mentoring or coaching role
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Additional Qualifications considered an asset
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Certificate of Qualification with Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement
  • BC Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent teaching certificate
  • BC Class 1 drivers license with Airbrake endorsement
