JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking an accountant looking to grow into the controllership position, you will be working closely with the accounting team to complete monthly deadlines. Attitude is everything, we require an innovative individual who is constantly looking for ways to improve processes and embraces the learning & growth mindset.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Accountant role include, but are not limited to:

· Assist and oversee the Vendor and subcontract system maintenance.

· Assist and oversee processing invoices for payment.

· Assist and oversee the payroll processing and reporting

· Prepare monthly progress billing for assigned projects

· Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods

· Manage and organize records and files

· Prepare monthly reconciliations of all accounts on project trial balance

· Prepare relevant reports as needed

DATA ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word

· Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented

· Excels in a high-paced work environment

· Strong communication skills both oral and written

· Self-starter who works well independently

· Ability to think analytically

· Takes initiative, constantly looking for ways to improve and learn
