About the role

As the first Account Executive, you will be a sales leader in our organization, spearheading efforts to expand our market presence and deliver significant revenue growth in the veterinary channel. You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely to execute and improve the current sales strategy. This role offers the opportunity to advance in an expanding startup and develop a top-tier sales operation. We’re seeking a self-driven innovator who is agile, proactive, and collaborative. This is a full-time role from our Burlington office.

Responsibilities

  • Attend 8 – 12 veterinary trade shows per year throughout the US and Canada. All expenses paid.
  • Assist in setting up and dismantling the trade show booth by handling display materials.
  • Engage with prospects at the trade show and communicate our unique selling proposition.
  • Follow up with qualified leads after the trade show and other outbound prospects.
  • Offers insights to improve the sales strategy and internal processes.
  • Accurately document all interactions and progress with leads in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s University Degree
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience making outbound calls in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to engage with prospects professionally and effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $51,000 with additional compensation during sales ramp-up period
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $85,000
  • Opportunity to earn up to $100,000 for exceeding sales targets
