Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with a passion for MDM and data management principles and extensive experience in managing data stewardship.
As an MDM Specialist, you will promote the value of MDM principles to all levels of our client's global investment company and manage MDM programs to ensure the consistency and availability of data across multiple systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage MDM programs using MDM tools and technologies with preference for experience with Ataccama tools.
  • Advocate and promote the value of MDM & data management principles to all levels of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data is properly classified, defined, and understood.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data issues, including data cleansing, standardization, and normalization.
  • Monitor and manage data governance and compliance initiatives to ensure master data is properly secured and protected.
  • Train and support end-users on MDM policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in MDM or data management / governance
  • DAMA certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience with MDM tools with preference for experience with Atacama tools.
  • Strong understanding of MDM principles and practices, including data governance, data quality, and data integration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks, such as GDPR or CCPA, is a plus.
