Position: Production Operations AssistantLocation: Montreal East - On siteSalary: $48,000 - $52,000 per year + benefitsSchedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.Job Type: Full-time, permanentOverviewA manufacturing company in Montreal East is seeking a detail-oriented Production Operations Assistant to provide administrative support to its Planning and Production team. This role involves assisting with work orders, tracking material availability, and helping ensure production schedules run smoothly.This office entry-level position offers a stable, hands-on environment where organized and proactive individuals can gain experience in administrative and production support.Key Responsibilities:- Support the Planning and Production team with their daily administrative needs.- Print, process, and distribute work orders.- Follow up with Production on the status and progress of work orders to ensure timely completion.- Coordinate with Purchasing and Receiving teams to track missing parts.- Release work orders for production when all materials are available and set priorities.- Monitor the flow of work orders through production and assist with managing priorities as needed.- Assist with inventory activities, including physical and cycle counts.- Provide general administrative support to Planning, Production Management, Quality, and Shipping teams as needed.- Perform other administrative duties as required.Qualifications & Competencies:- Minimum high school diploma required.- 1-2 years of experience supporting a production or planning environment preferred.- Experience with an ERP system is an asset.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Able to work independently and take initiative.- Computer literate: Windows, MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).- Positive, hands-on attitude, flexible, and willing to learn.- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines.To apply, please send your resume in Word format to Daniela at daniela.guillen@quantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000 For more details, click here.CNESST permit numbers: AP-2000158 & AR-2000157
