The RoleOur client is looking for a dedicated relationship builder and organizational powerhouse who can collaborate with multiple internal teams and stakeholders. You will provide support and counsel to the client on initiatives including; employee engagement, employee relations, benefits, compensation, learning and development, and recruiting. They are accepting applicants in the United States and Canada.ResponsibilitiesIncreasing worldwide engagement and nurturing a people first cultureAudit and adapt policies and processes to promote an inclusive and equitable employee experience (DEI lens a must)Own decision making processes for your areas of expertise; lead with your knowledge and people skillsEstablish and maintain People data and analytics to drive decision makingSupport Talent Acquisition Specialist in developing incredible onboarding process for new hiresManage and administer benefits plans and programs. Liaison with insurance partners, vendors, and brokers (health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.)Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding benefits, compensation, and leave administration to effectively administer our US people policiesProcess employment-related changes and maintain data integrity in all systems, ensuring compliance and conducting regular auditsDefinition of Success5+ years progressive experience in People Operations with interest or experience working at a fast growth startupInterest in developing and nurturing inclusive virtual culture across time zonesSolid understanding of labor legislation, and willingness to learn as we grow (currently they hire in 10 states in the USA)Your superpowersRelationship Builder:You love to make connections with people to drive your success, you always try to assume good intent.Flexible & Adaptable:You know how to go with the flow and never get too caught up with how things have been done in the past; you’re more worried about the best way to do them now and into the future.Openness to criticism:You know how to give critical feedback as well as receive it, you view feedback as growth and want to create a feedback forward culture.Communication:You know how to communicate across cultures and levels; getting buy in and communicating clearly is your superpowerWhat you’ll love about our clientYou’ll join a team where everyone is an integral part of making the world a better place.
