Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) is a Level 2 community hospital in Williams Lake, BC. The facility is currently under renovation with completion planned for 2026. We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist to join our team and provide high-quality care in an acute inpatient setting. Responsibilities Work an 8‑hour shift in the inpatient medicine unit Act as the most responsible physician (MRP) for complex medical patients, co‑management of surgical cases, and palliative care See an average of 12–16 inpatients per shift Participate in mandatory after‑hours call duties Collaborate with specialists and family physicians for patient care and quality improvement initiatives Compensation Clinical Service Contract. Estimated annual remuneration for a full‑time Hospitalist: $336,162 plus MOCAP level 2. Additional rural incentives may apply, including a 12.32% retention premium, a $19,092 retention flat fee, relocation funding ($9,000–$15,000), a $15,000 recruitment incentive, and eligibility for loan forgiveness programs for qualified candidates.
