Role Description The Senior Portfolio Manager will be responsible for working with Head of Portfolio Management and/or other Portfolio Managers in leading the firm’s investment strategy, portfolio construction, and ongoing management of client relationships and client assets where applicable. This individual will oversee research, asset allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring across client portfolios, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements under the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and FINRA. As a senior leader, the Senior Portfolio Manager will play a key role in shaping the investment philosophy of the firm, supporting business development efforts, and fostering client trust through disciplined portfolio management and thought leadership. Key Responsibilities Participate in development, and implementation of the firm’s and client’s investment strategy, including asset allocation and portfolio construction. Manage discretionary and advisory portfolios in line with client objectives, risk profiles, and regulatory requirements. Manage OTC client accounts in line with company objectives, risk appetite and regulatory requirements. Monitor investment performance, client transactions and trading activity, prepare reports, and present account reviews to the Head of Portfolio Management and/or other Executive Management. Conduct ongoing market, economic, and sector research to inform investment decisions where needed. Ensure client and investment activities comply with internal policies, client mandates, and CIMA regulations. Identify, assess, and manage portfolio risks. Work closely with the Compliance team to maintain strong governance and oversight of client and investment activities. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as a senior point of contact for investment-related discussions with clients and prospects. Support business development by articulating the firm’s business and investment approach to prospective clients. Collaborate with Relationship Managers and senior leadership to deliver tailored client solutions. Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop junior portfolio managers, analysts, client relationship managers and/or other junior investment staff. Contribute to building a high-performance, collaborative portfolio and client relationship team. Participate in firm-wide strategic planning as a member of the senior leadership team. Qualifications CFA and Series 7. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in investment management, portfolio management, or asset allocation, preferably within wealth management or institutional asset management. Deep understanding of multi-asset class investing and portfolio construction. Demonstrated ability to generate strong, risk-adjusted performance. Experience working in a regulated financial services environment; knowledge of SEC, FINRA and Cayman Islands regulatory framework (CIMA/SIBL) is advantageous. Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship skills. Willingness to relocate to the Cayman Islands.
