We're looking for a System Administrator with strong technical capabilities and a collaborative mindset to join a dynamic technology team supporting nationwide operations in the advertising and media sector.This position plays a vital role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing critical network systems and infrastructure. You'll work with industry-standard hardware and software platforms in a Windows and Cisco environment, while also contributing to proactive system monitoring and cross-team support.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Cisco routing, switching, and identity services (ISE).Administer Windows and Linux servers in a virtualized environment (ESX on Synergy hardware).Oversee system security, backups, patch management, and performance tuning.Provide backend technical support for hardware, software, and integrated systems across departments.Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and related network protocols.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT needs and resolve escalated technical issues.Monitor and respond to system alerts related to hardware, software, and environmental changes.Support cloud-based tools and enterprise applications, including Microsoft 365 and MECM.Utilize mobile device management tools (preferably Microsoft Intune) for secure and efficient device handling.Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and IT infrastructure projects.Document processes and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for internal use.Preferred Qualifications & Skills7+ years of experience in backend systems support, infrastructure management, or network administration.Strong expertise in Windows and Linux server environments, including command-line proficiency.In-depth knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and Cisco ISE (strongly preferred).Proven experience with Microsoft 365, MECM, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.Solid troubleshooting skills with a problem-solving mindset.Familiarity with Checkpoint firewalls and WAN optimizers is considered a valuable asset.Experience working with mobile device management tools; Microsoft Intune preferred.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us?Work with leading-edge technology in a company that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Join a highly skilled team where your contributions have a direct impact on operations across the country.Competitive compensation package and access to development opportunities.Hybrid work model (location in Canada required).If you are an experienced System Administrator looking to bring your skills to a role where technology meets nationwide impact, we want to hear from you.Apply now and take the next step in your IT career
