Job Description

We are currently seeking a Team Lead Verification Engineer to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team responsible for certifying aircraft Electronic Engine Controllers.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Technical Quality: Oversee and validate the team's deliverables, ensuring they meet technical standards.
  • Work Package Definition & Supplier Management: Outline work packages and manage suppliers for outsourced activities.
  • Software Verification Process Implementation: Define and implement software verification processes.
  • Continuous Improvement Leadership: Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on quality, efficiency, and timely delivery. These improvements may include team organization, tools, and test/review methodologies.
  • Positive Work Ethic Promotion: Foster a positive work ethic within the team.
  • Client Communication & Coordination: Engage with clients on technical matters and coordinate effectively.
  • Status Updates & Workload Assessments: Provide weekly status updates and workload assessments to the Project Manager.
  • Team Training: Identify training needs and provide necessary training to the team.
  • Company Development Participation: Contribute to the company’s growth by participating in technical and commercial proposal development.


Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Verification & Validation of Embedded Software in a DO178B or DO178C environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a team leader role, including team follow-up, reporting, team building, motivation, training, and coaching.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SCADE, MATLAB/Simulink, C, C++, Microsoft Office, DOORS, SVN, and Mantis.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with curiosity, autonomy, proactiveness, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to isolate and troubleshoot hardware, system, and software problems.
  • Learning Ability: Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Team Player: Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual in French and English.
