In This Role, You Will: Set and enhance national Commercial Property underwriting guidelines and wordings Act as a senior technical authority on complex, high‑value submissions Promote consistency, discipline, and technical excellence across underwriting operations Partner closely with actuarial, claims, risk services, and executive teams Develop, coach, and inspire a high‑performing underwriting team Anticipate market trends and uncover opportunities to strengthen profitable growth Lead innovation and continuous improvement across the portfolio What You Bring: 10+ years of Commercial Property underwriting experience At least 3 years leading underwriting or technical teams Strong business acumen with the ability to link underwriting discipline to financial outcomes Deep understanding of the Canadian P&C market Proven success influencing underwriting strategy at a regional or national level Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, people‑focused leadership approach Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience Seniority level Director Employment type Full‑time Job function Management Industries: Insurance and Insurance Carriers #J-18808-Ljbffr
