Temporary Legal Assistant in Litigation | National Law Firm Do you have litigation experience and want to join a stimulating work environment, ideally located in downtown Montreal? A rapidly expanding national law firm, located in a dynamic neighborhood, is currently offering a temporary opportunity lasting several months for a litigation paralegal. In this role, you will support a team of lawyers specializing in litigation in their practice. The firm offers flexible hours, the possibility of working remotely 2 to 3 days per week, and a respectful work environment. Whether you are looking for a temporary job or want to return to the workforce, this opportunity is for you Apply now YOUR ROLE:Prepare various standard litigation procedures;Calculate procedural deadlines;Prepare, modify, and review correspondence and various legal documents;Communicate effectively and thoroughly with the various parties involved in the cases;Maintain and follow up on the schedule and manage phone calls;Open, follow up on, and file paper and electronic records;Manage billing. REQUIRED SKILLS:Experience as a Legal Assistant;DVS in legal Secretarial Studies or any other relevant training;Good command of French and English; Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;Excellent organizational and priority management skills;Ability to work independently, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
