LIVE: What You will Do

• Project Execution and Coordination: Ensure projects adhere to client contracts, performance indicators, financial targets, and deadlines. Secure contracts, purchase orders, and enforce billing procedures. Monitor project execution for budget, schedule, and quality compliance.


• Field Data and Documentation: Collect and maintain field data, including employee hours. Ensure site documentation, including health and safety records and field packages, is accurate and up-to-date.


• Bid Preparation and Strategy: Identify opportunities in Emergency Response, Remediation, and Demolition / Hazmat through networking and research. Develop bidding strategies for major projects, collaborate with the leadership team for alignment, and prepare and submit tender packages. Analyze blueprints and documentation to formulate accurate estimates.


• Communication and Leadership: Chair project meetings, manage official communications, and oversee project file management. Provide mentorship to junior estimators, and collaborate with Marketing and Indigenous Relations groups to support estimating and project goals.


• Client Relations and Business Development: Build and manage client relationships, identify business opportunities, and lead the bid review process. Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and other proposals, prepare cost estimates, evaluate bids, and assess risks. Work with the Proposal Coordinator to search for upcoming opportunities.


• Project Close-Out and Review: Oversee the collection of final payments, complete post-construction submittals, and provide project profile summaries for marketing. Conduct lessons learned reviews to assess financial and technical outcomes, and optimize job profitability and performance.

• Leadership & Team Collaboration: Strong communicator and team leader, skilled in mentoring junior staff and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

• Client-Focused: Adept at building client relationships, leading bid reviews, and identifying new business opportunities, with a focus on long-term success.

• Safety & Compliance Commitment: Dedicated to maintaining up-to-date safety records and ensuring compliance with all regulations, aligned with our safety culture.

• Educational Background & Passion: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or similar, paired with a deep passion for solving environmental challenges through strategic project management.
