Job Description Senior Cost Consultant responsible for managing budgets, post‑contract cost management, value management, client interfacing, mentoring junior staff, and researching construction market conditions throughout Canada. Responsibilities Managing a budget of one or many packages on a major rehabilitation program Post‑contract cost management including forecasting, change management, cost reconciliations, cost reporting Undertaking value management Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants Mentoring and coaching junior staff Support research related to construction market conditions throughout Canada, including analysis of official published data Qualifications 10+ years of experience in cost management A recognized university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject Membership of relevant professional organisations such as the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) or The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Reliability clearance with the Government of Canada or ability to obtain it Knowledge of and experience using CostX is an asset \Benefits 100% covered health and dental benefits for you and your dependents (including paramedical services) Health spending account to top up expenses not covered in the benefits programme RRSP option with company matching Annual learning and development budget Access to a range of online learning tools, and support for career development and growth Coverage of one professional membership or licence fee per year, directly related to your role Work‑life balance: vacation, flex and sick days Flexible, hybrid work approach Commitment to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture Equal Employment Opportunity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from individuals regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or any other legally protected grounds.
