Finance BI/Data Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Finance BI/Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Toronto, Ontario. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis and be proficient in handling large datasets using advanced tools such as Power BI and Excel. This position requires the candidate to be in office 4 days/weekResponsibilities:- Analyze and consolidate large volumes of financial data to support business decision-making.- Create and manage detailed reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.- Utilize advanced Excel functions, including macros, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs, to streamline data operations.- Monitor performance metrics and generate regular KPI reports to assess business outcomes.- Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends and insights.- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine reporting needs and ensure data accuracy.- Support financial management processes through comprehensive analysis and reporting.- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports and dashboards.- Maintain data integrity and accuracy across all reporting tools and processes.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial data analysis and business intelligence, construction industry experience an asset.- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, macros, and pivot tables.- Proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting.- Strong understanding of KPI reporting and performance management.- Ability to analyze complex datasets and extract actionable insights.- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.- Familiarity with financial and procurement processes and systems.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
