Using your Revit skills, you will work under the supervision of the Job Captain or Project Manager, perform a variety of production tasks to prepare documents needed to take a building from original concept to completion. Contribute toward the accuracy, quality, completeness, and schedule of finished drawing packages through coordination with team members and consultants.What you’ll be doing at Kasian:Develop and prepare Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specificationsDevelop and prepare Contract Documents (CD) and specificationsAssist the Contract AdministratorPrepare graphics and presentation drawingsTake mentorship and guidance from more experienced production team membersAssist in performing code and bylaw analysisAssist in the coordination of consultantsAssist in the performance of Quality Control proceduresResearch and compile construction materialsAssist in the printing, assembly, circulation, and filing of project documentsAssist the Job Captain with general DD and CD dutiesWhat you bring to Kasian:A minimum of five years of experience as an architectural technologistAn Architectural Technology Diploma or Architecture DegreeExperience working on projects in a variety of sectors – High-Rise Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Senior LivingProficiency in construction documentation, including envelope detailingFluency with RevitA solid understanding of current building systems, materials, and building codesA passion for accuracyA collaborative and flexible approachMotivation, great organizational skillsWhat We Offer:A creative and collaborative environmentNational project exposure and opportunity to support high-profile pursuitsMentorship and learning opportunities in business strategy and developmentGreat downtown office location with easy access to public transportFlexibility and work-life balance in a values-driven workplaceSalary starts at $75,000+ per annum, based on a 40-hour work week.
