Corporate Paralegal Do you have experience in business law and are you looking to invest in corporate law files?Our partner, a law firm located in the heart of downtown Montreal, is seeking a Legal Technician to join its corporate law team.Offering a dynamic and friendly work environment, this firm provides competitive compensation, attractive benefits, and a hybrid work model.A great opportunity to grow in a professional and enjoyable setting YOUR ROLE:As a Legal Technician in corporate law, you will be at the heart of the company's legal activities, ensuring proactive and structured management of corporate files.Your role will primarily involve the following:Ensure the continuous updating of corporate files, including the preparation of resolutions, annual reports, and filings (federal, provincial, and extra-provincial);Update minute books with accuracy and rigor;Actively participate in the preparation and filing of corporate documents (incorporation, registration, amendments, annual reports);Draft and prepare various corporate documents (lists, minutes, reports, tables);Manage and track legal deadlines for both Canadian and U.S. corporations;Ensure the consistency of legal and corporate documents;Conduct thorough research in corporate registries;Submit requests for certificates of good standing and compliance certificates with precision;Verify, correct, and format documents to ensure their compliance and quality.SKILLS REQUIRED: Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in Paralegal Technology;Significant experience in a similar role;In-depth knowledge of corporate law is essential;Good communication skills in French, both oral and written;Ability to work collaboratively and maintain strong interpersonal relationships;Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;Excellent analytical and synthesizing skills;Autonomy, rigor, and constant attention to detail.
