Network Administrator II

We are looking for a Network Administrator to join our team and play a crucial role in managing, administering, and maintaining our Network Infrastructure. This includes overseeing network devices, associated software, local and wide area network connections, and communication links to ensure Moneris has a scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud, that supports its business operations
Location: You will be based in our Montréal office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Network Infrastructure.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
- Provide support, in an automated way when possible, to all Network services offerings.
- Deploy and manage robust network infrastructure and services (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, load balancer, VPN, and QoS)
- Lead platform currency, capacity planning, and the reporting of defined Service level agreements
- Participate in projects, design, implementation, installation, and configuration of Network Infrastructure systems.
- Accountable for identified service ownership offerings. Including the ownership of the service support queue and operational documentation.
- Work with the InfoSec team to ensure that network components follow industry standards and best practice.
- Responsible for the escalations occurring in daily operations, including business-as-usual service and change requests, incident investigation, remediation, troubleshooting, and monitoring of network services, local and wide area network connections, and Datacenter.
- Rotational on-call is required to support 24/7 important and production systems.
- In partnership with Infrastructure and Development teams, leads/participates in building the supporting networks for core in-house develop gateways, transaction and payment processing systems.
- Support and develop technical standards and processes related to the network for the service offerings.
- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working with network infrastructure administration, design, and management.
- Experience in network switching and routing, firewall, intrusion detection and prevention systems.
- Proficient in network administration, implementation, monitoring, support, and automation
- Proficient in leading projects or project steps and communicating progress/approach with technical/non-technical peers/clients and leaders.
- Proficiency in payment systems and the merchant acquiring business.

- Responsable des offres de services identifiées. Y compris la gestion de la file d'attente du service d'assistance et de la documentation opérationnelle.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe InfoSec pour s'assurer que les composants du réseau respectent les normes de l'industrie et les meilleures pratiques.
- Il est responsable des remontées d'informations survenant dans le cadre des opérations quotidiennes, y compris les demandes de service et de changement, les enquêtes sur les incidents, les mesures correctives, le dépannage et la surveillance des services de réseau, des connexions aux réseaux locaux et étendus et du centre de données.
- Offrir un support sur appel à tour de rôle sont nécessaires pour soutenir les systèmes importants et de production 24 heures sur 24 et 7 jours sur 7.
- En partenariat avec les équipes d'infrastructure et de développement, il dirige/participe à la mise en place des réseaux de soutien pour les principales passerelles de développement internes, les systèmes de traitement des transactions et des paiements.
- Soutenir et développer des normes et des processus techniques liés au réseau pour les offres de services.
- Baccalauréat requis ou expérience professionnelle équivalente.
- Au moins 4 ans d'expérience dans l'administration, la conception et la gestion d'infrastructure réseau.
- Expérience en matière de commutation et routage de réseau, pare-feu, systèmes de détection et de prévention des intrusions.
- Compétences en matière de réseaux, de conception, d'administration, de mise en œuvre, de surveillance, d'assistance et d'automatisation.
- Maîtrise de la conduite de projets ou d'étapes de projets et de la communication des progrès/approches avec des pairs/clients et des responsables techniques et non techniques.
- Maîtrise des systèmes de paiement et de l'activité d'acquisition des commerçants.
