Job Summary: Maintenance Technician required for Magna Exteriors to perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, with a focus on mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Magna Exteriors is a leading manufacturer of vehicle exteriors, providing innovative solutions for the automotive and commercial truck industries. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment, working closely with our team to identify and resolve mechanical and hydraulic issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including presses, rolling mills, and moulding machines
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and hydraulic issues, working with minimal supervision
  • Operate tool room equipment, including welding and fabrication
  • Assemble and install equipment, including drive shafts and conveyors
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of production equipment
Key Qualifications
  • Millwright certificate or equivalent experience
  • College or technical school certificate, or five years related experience and/or training
  • Excellent knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical processes
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
Desirable Additional Qualifications
  • Overhead crane license
  • Forklift license
  • Tier 1 automotive manufacturing experience
