Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Instructor to join our team at Conservation Halton. As a Program Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering educational programs and activities that promote environmental awareness and conservation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver educational programs for diverse audiences, including children, adults, and community groups
  • Design and implement interactive and engaging activities that promote environmental awareness and conservation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new program ideas and initiatives
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for program participants
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of program materials and resources
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in environmental education
Requirements
  • Background in education, ecology, environmental studies, or a related field
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experience in environmental education, program development, and delivery
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
