Job Title: Meat Associate

Join our team as a Meat Associate at Walmart Canada and develop your skills in the retail industry. This role offers a great opportunity to provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and work in a fast-paced team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Zones the department to ensure a clean and organized store environment.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet company standards.
  • Adheres to health and safety guidelines and company policies for food handling and cold chain compliance.
  • Takes orders for deli department merchandise and prepares items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
  • Prepares deli food orders, meat, cheese, and other items using slicers, stackers, and other utensils.
  • Follows health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
