This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and in office.

What the day will look like
- Produce calculations specific to group insurance plans, such as actuarial valuations, analytical studies and projections.
- Provide technical support for client projects (cost projections, renewal, marketings, plan design enhancements, plan review, employee communication and administration)
- Produce experience monitoring reports, including analysis of claim costs, trend and client relevant KPIs.
- Draft client ready communication material to communicate results of our analysis.
- Support ad-hoc financial requests, working with carriers and other business units to support client facing colleagues.
- Coordinate projects with other team members, other business units and carriers
- Increase efficiency by contributing to the improvement of standardized processes and tools.
- Participate in team projects and activities which drive innovation, improved client value and business results.
This is an exciting opportunity for students to learn, contribute, and gain real-world work experience in a collaborative environment. Interns have the opportunity to learn more about Aon's culture and business while developing the practical skills necessary for future success and graduate school opportunities. The program provides interns with an understanding of working in an environment that is dedicated to exceeding client expectations and providing distinct products and services for unique client needs.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Student enrolled in an undergraduate program, such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook are required.
- Proficiency in other programming languages such as VBA, R, or BI is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize under pressure to meet deadlines.
