Purpose and Objective

The Senior Data Management (MDG) consultant is responsible for designing and leading the overall strategic and tactical data migration initiatives, data cleansing initiatives and data profiling initiatives as well as data warehouse design, modeling and implementation for our customers.

Job Expectations and Tasks

As a Senior MDG consultant in the team your main tasks will be:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and partners to understand the specific Enterprise Data needs and be able to translate those requirements into a comprehensive solution.
  • Must be able to collaborate and work with other team members to ensure overall successful delivery of customer specific solution implementations for SAP Master Data Governance.
  • Be able to articulate roadmap of SAP products & solutions around Data strategy.
  • Required to actively engage and support in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects. In addition, the candidate should be prepared to learn how to perform feasibility studies and process design reviews, conduct project assessments, support pre-sales activities, as well as define detailed blueprint for development requirements.
  • Have an appetite to acquire new knowledge, adapt to and contribute to fast innovating Ability to assist customer in designing Data management strategies for their SAP on premise and Cloud environment(s).
  • Adapt standard service products to customers' individual needs.
  • Applying of ABAP programming skills and SAP Functional knowledge in real customer implementation or engineering projects to develop innovative solutions or customer enhancements to meet business requirements or to improve overall business process performance.
  • Applying Design Thinking or other innovative methodologies in solving customer problems or designing solutions
  • Delivery of Engineering services (Integration Validation, Rapid Prototyping) to ensure customer value realization
  • Delivery of Assessment and Optimization services and supporting critical Escalations

    WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Information Systems, Maths, Engineering.
At least 8+ years SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) hands on experience with at least 2-3 full cycle implementations. Implementation Experience of SAP MDG/MDM in key domains such as Finance, Customer, Supplier, Material, Business Partners
