Job Description

The Student Service Desk Technician is responsible for ensuring proper information technology operation, providing first contact support, and resolving end-user issues in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first contact support via telephone, web portal, email, and chat to resolve end-user issues.
  • Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet defined SLAs.
  • Escalate incidents with accurate documentation to suitable technicians, when required.
  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
  • Test fixes to ensure incidents have been adequately resolved.
  • Alert management to emerging trends in incidents.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of basic PC computer hardware.
  • Experience with MS-Windows 10 desktop and server operating systems.
