Job Summary: Hybrid Sales and Marketing professional required to handle customer inquiries, close group business, and drive revenue growth at the Delta Hotels Sherbrooke Conference Centre.

Delta Hotels Sherbrooke Conference Centre is seeking a skilled Sales and Marketing professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, closing group business, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handles customer inquiries and acts as the on-property liaison for group sales within the pre-defined peak room parameters.
  • Closes group business and achieves revenue goals by actively up-selling each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity.
  • Develops relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings through sales calls, entertainment, and other means.
  • Partners with Event Management and Operations to provide a customer experience that exceeds expectations.
  • Executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Implements the brand's service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in sales and marketing or related professional area.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Large group sales experience.
