LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking a highly skilled Medical Lab Technologist to join our team in Burnaby, BC. As a key member of our Mid Low Chemistry team, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic testing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
  • Perform, interpret, and release results while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Identify incidents and non-conformities, and participate in the development of corrective action plans
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
  • Participate in problem-solving and workflow optimization

Requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Good computer skills and knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to identify and follow up on issues
  • Ability to maintain strict standards of safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality
