Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medication Care Partner to join our team at Sienna Senior Living. As a Medication Care Partner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication according to legislative requirements and policies and procedures.
  • Review residents' Support Plans and provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, mobility, continence management, and laundry.
  • Monitor and document residents' vitals, weights, behavior, mobility, safety, and involvement in activities.
  • Escort residents to social activity programs, appointments, and dining areas.
  • Promptly respond to nursing call systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and completion of an accredited Personal Support Worker program that meets legislative standards.
  • Medication Administration certification.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, as well as experience with medication administration.
  • At least 600 hours of related experience, including both class time and practical experience, preferably in a geriatric setting.
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Courses in gerontology, aging, or dementia.
