Job Title: Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Apex Industries Inc.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs, groundskeeping, and supporting equipment installation. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform building maintenance tasks, including lighting, heating, air conditioning, and pest control.
  • Conduct groundskeeping activities, such as driveway and parking lot repair, walkway clearing, and trash collection.
  • Maintain windows, bathrooms, floors, ceiling tiles, and exhaust fans.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and installation.
  • Perform minor and general building repairs, including roof leaks, floor or ceiling tile repair, and plumbing and electrical work.
  • Help set up for events and activities.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • Ability to read imperial measurements.
  • Ability to follow verbal or written instructions and work under little or no supervision.
  • Ability to climb or work from a ladder, balance, reach, crouch, kneel, stand for long periods of time, and some heavy lifting.
