Team Clerk, Program Clerical

Summary: Provide clerical support to clinical teams at BC Children's Hospital and Sunny Hill Health Centre, scheduling appointments, preparing documents, and maintaining databases.
As a Team Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting the clinical teams at BC Children's Hospital and Sunny Hill Health Centre. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clerical support to clinical teams regarding patient care related processes, including gathering charts, requesting and receiving information from communities.
- Scheduling and booking clinical appointments for the teams, sending out letters confirming appointments to families and community professionals, and pre-admitting and admitting patients.
- Preparing and mailing packages containing consent forms, parent questionnaires, and other documents to families, monitoring the return of these documents, and sending reminders as required.
- Uploading patient paperwork into the database, monitoring and requesting missing documents from clinical staff, and entering and updating information in appropriate databases.
- Providing reception and switchboard duties as required, including receiving and directing patients, answering the telephone, forwarding calls, and answering general inquiries.
