Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bakery Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Bakery Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized bakery area, and assisting with the sale of bakery products.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the quality and visual appearance of bakery department merchandise, including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
- Maintain a fully stocked bakery department and ensure that merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
- Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and preparing bakery merchandise.
- Ensure all displays are secured in a safe and proper manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
