Summary: Recreational sport program coordinator sought to ensure safe and cooperative play, maintain a clean program area, and provide exceptional customer service.

- Monitor recreational sports programs, ensuring safe and cooperative play.
- Ensure a safe and clean program area.
- Communicate with supervisory staff, co-workers, and liaise with partnering program staff and volunteers.
- Ensure health and safety standards and agency policies and procedures are followed.
- Deal with accidents/incidents appropriately.
- Maintain complete vigilance while on duty and be ready to respond to any emergency situation.
- Provide a high level of front line customer service, including greeting and engaging participants.
- Complete administrative duties in a timely manner.
- Experience working with all ages in a sport program setting.
- Proven experience supervising sport programs.
- Ability to resolve conflicts in an appropriate manner.
- Outgoing, enthusiastic and energetic personality.
- Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
The successful candidate will possess a Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED certificate, a valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check, and a Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training certificate from the Ministry of Labour.
Hours of work are dependent on the number of participants taking part in our programs, with no minimum hours associated. Work schedule may include weekdays, weekends, and evening hours.
