Support a team of maintenance professionals in designing and executing improvement projects to enhance the efficiency and reliability of production facilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Support the maintenance team in designing and executing improvement projects, including pump or seal upgrades, piping modifications, motor replacements, and other improvements.
  • Collaborate with the reliability team on Root Cause Analysis, Risk Assessments, and Condition Based Monitoring Technology reviews.
  • Analyze maintenance history and failure data to prioritize improvements.
  • Assist plant engineers and trades in troubleshooting and repairing equipment such as pumps, turbines, compressors, conveyors, heat exchangers, vessels, and valves.
  • Gain exposure to maintenance management, process safety, and management of change systems.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering co-op student pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work safely in an operating facility.
  • Ability to organize, coordinate, and accomplish multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
