Job Title: Head of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Division

We are seeking a visionary leader to head our Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Division. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and leadership to our team of experts in pediatric hematology and oncology.

About the Division

The Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology provides comprehensive care to children and youth with cancer and blood disorders. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, advancing research, and promoting education and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Division
  • Develop and implement divisional goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with clinical and academic faculty members, trainees, nurses, allied health, and support staff to achieve divisional objectives
  • Work with the Research Institute to advance discovery and translational research in pediatric hematology and oncology
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including the Provincial Health Services Authority and the University of British Columbia
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric hematology and oncology, with a proven track record of leadership and academic excellence. They will be appointed as a Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor in Pediatrics, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
