Rmr - Millwright - Journeyman

The Lift Mechanic Journeyman will maintain, overhaul and repair all lifts as required, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Key responsibilities include coordinating daily activities, inspecting and repairing equipment, diagnosing malfunctions, and performing maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a Journeyman Millwright Ticket (BC or Red Seal) and 3-5 years of lift mechanic experience, with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and electrical, welding, and hydraulic experience preferred.

• **Essential Job Functions:**
• Coordinate daily activities in the absence of the lead mechanic and lift supervisor.
• Inspect, repair and maintain the functional part of the lift.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions.
• Disassemble and overhaul equipment as required.
• Assist with planning and performance of maintenance activities.
• Perform all needed maintenance activities for the functional parts of lifts, associated buildings and ramps.
• Report to the supervisor, any maintenance activities performed.
• Advise supervisor of needed parts or supplies.

• **Required Qualifications and Abilities:**
• Journeyman Millwright Ticket (BC or Red Seal)
• 3-5 years lift mechanic experience required.
• 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
• Electrical, welding and hydraulic experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
