Cineplex Entertainment, based in Toronto, Ontario, is currently hiring for the position of Host/Server Assistant at The Rec Room Deerfoot, reporting to the Service Manager. This role will be based at The Rec Room Deerfoot in Calgary.
The Host/Server Assistant role involves providing exceptional customer service, maintaining knowledge of menu items and entertainment offerings, and delivering food and beverages to guests in multiple areas of the venue. Responsibilities also include clearing tables and ensuring the overall guest experience is top-notch.
Job Duties:
- Greet and assist guests
- Manage reservations and seating
- Ensure guest satisfaction with food and service
- Monitor dining areas and equipment
- Support serving staff and maintain cleanliness
- Assist with various tasks as needed
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Attention to detail and professional demeanor
Work Conditions:
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Fast-paced environment with extended hours
