Position Summary

Our Medical Integrated Program is the single largest clinical team in the hospital. Encompassing three floors (B6, B7 and B8) this program has a varying patient population with acute care needs. MIP is a hospitalist led model of care, including RNs, RPNs and PSWs, practicing to their full scope. Nurses on these units will be given the opportunity to cross train between all of three floors, allowing them to learn new roles and help their colleagues as patient needs and census changes

Education Requirements

Graduate of an accredited college nursing program
Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Mandatory Qualifications

Current two (2) years of experience in a medical/surgical setting

Effective September 7th, 2021 all applicants must provide proof of two doses for full vaccination against Covid-19 (in the form of watermark receipts from the provincial portal) or provide written proof of a medical or religious reason for not being fully vaccinated as per Organization Policy, Covid-19 Immunization and Management.
