Production Cell Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Cell Leader to join our team at CAE. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the readiness of human and material resources to meet delivery deadlines, ensuring product quality, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate production activities to meet delivery deadlines and ensure product quality.
- Monitor work costs, status, and quality, and develop solutions to problems.
- Manage employees and take disciplinary action as necessary, in accordance with collective agreements and human resources policies.
- Set objectives and evaluate employee performance.
- Lead improvement projects within the department to enhance efficiency, quality, health, safety, and profitability.
- Coordinate a multidisciplinary team to define, manage, and coordinate activities related to projects and product development.
Requirements:
- A college degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage employees in a production environment.
- Experience applying Lean principles and managing with a health and safety mindset.
- Strong human resource management skills, with the ability to set up and motivate a team and develop good relationships with internal and external customers.
- Bilingual (French and English) and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
