Lead Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join our new medical clinic in East York, Bayview.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling appointments for physicians and practitioners

Monitoring and processing accounts receivable

Follow up with payment issues from third party payors

General office administration, including but not limited to: Scheduling, payroll, up-keep, sales reports, expense reports, file maintenance

Maintain an organized and efficient workspace

Implementing promotional programs

Responsible for creating supply orders

Desired Skills & Experience:

High School degree or equivalent required.

Diploma in Medical Office Administration is preferred

Minimum 1 year of secretarial/administrative experience

Experience in a medical/physiotherapy/rehab clinic is required

Strong Computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel

Ability to type 30 wpm, 10-key by touch

Experience with a medical software such as Oscar is preferred

Must be effective at multitasking and problem solving

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Professionalism

Reliable

Attention to Detail

Schedule:

Typical schedule during the week will be 9am to 5pm or as required by the business.

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

  • Medical Receptionist: 1 year
