About the Opportunity

The Utility Worker will perform general repetitive tasks in maintaining an assigned area, with due consideration for patients, visitors and staff. This includes:

  • Maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas
  • Participating in On-the-Job Training programs
  • Observing proper cleaning and disinfecting techniques
  • Practicing responsible cost effectiveness in the use of time, materials and equipment
  • Observing all hospital and departmental personnel policies
About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and methods that apply to a health care setting
  • Good communication skills
  • Competencies in other languages, French preferred
Hours
  • Casual relief positions
Compensation and Incentives

$20.02 Hourly
