Senior Analyst, Financial ERP

Strathcona County seeks a Senior Analyst to lead the operational sustainment of Oracle Fusion Financial Management modules, ensuring financial management processes are properly supported.

As a key member of the Business Excellence department, this role will work closely with the Financial & Strategic Services department to drive continuous improvement of the ERP application.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management and accounting functions, with experience in financial ERP application administration, including application functionality, general ledger and subledger interactions, and ERP application sustainment and support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the operational sustainment of Oracle Fusion Financial Management modules
  • Investigating and resolving issues, including coordination with stakeholders and product vendor support
  • Developing and implementing solutions, including system configuration changes and transaction processing procedures
  • Steering solution testing and ensuring effective implementation
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives to ensure financial management processes remain efficient and effective

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting or Information Technology, with experience in financial ERP application administration
  • Demonstrated functional understanding of financial management and accounting functions
  • At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience working in financial ERP systems
  • Training, certification, and/or experience in Oracle Cloud Financials and/or Questica Budget is an asset
