LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the lower mainland, BC as a Laboratory Assistant for our Mobile Lab Services team.

As a Mobile Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing on-site patient care in various locations. This rewarding position allows you to develop relationships with patients and witness the positive impact you have on their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize daily visits to collect specimens and plan efficient routes
  • Perform phlebotomies and other medical procedures
  • Deliver specimens to designated labs
  • Book patient appointments and provide necessary information
  • Communicate with doctors and facility staff

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
