Farm Labour Supervisor Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Labour Supervisor to join our team at Southshore Greenhouses Inc. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising farm workers, assisting with growing and crop-related operations, and ensuring the highest standards of quality control and production records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise farm workers to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Assist with growing and crop-related operations, including training and development of farm workers
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and quality control procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records
  • Perform general farm duties as required

Requirements:

  • College or diploma program in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 2 years' experience in a greenhouse environment
  • Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 23 kg/50lbs) and work in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
