We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Manager, Pharmacy Service within our Pharmacy Services team.

Reporting directly to the Director, Pharmacy Services, the Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of Pharmacy Services, driving professional practice to ensure positive outcomes in medication usage for patients.

The ideal candidate is outcome-driven, highly motivated, independent, and an innovative professional who cherishes teamwork and consistently exhibits a visionary, creative, and collaborative management approach.

The Manager will also support the Director and collaborate with the management team to offer service leadership, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day human, fiscal, and environmental resources essential for delivering pharmacy services to patients safely, effectively, and efficiently.
- Supervise processes that enable the team to provide high-quality service meeting customer requirements and expectations, with a focus on overseeing automation processes that enhance efficiency.
- Facilitate the progression of pharmacists and technicians to elevate clinical practice standards.
- Develop care delivery systems and processes that enhance patient-focused care, professional autonomy, accountability, and collaborative practice by setting an example, coaching, and mentoring staff when necessary to exhibit personal commitment to continuous professional development.
- Analyze data and information on quality, utilization, and outcome indicators, and devise/implement innovative action plans.
- Navigate changes in a complex, constantly evolving environment.
- Take part in and lead Pharmacy and Hospital Accreditations.

Requirements:
- Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists in Part A of the register.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited University.
- Advanced health-related degree or completion of a Pharmacy Residency program is advantageous.
- Management background in a healthcare setting involving interdisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated strong fiscal management and collaborative leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment.
- Proven commitment to professional practice and quality standards.
- Exceptional team-building and facilitation skills.
- Strong dedication to developing Pharmacy professionals in an acute care setting.
- Exhibited project management expertise.
- Outstanding presentation and computer competencies.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Prior experience with Meditech, SwissLog, or Omnicell is preferred.
- Impeccable attendance and discipline-free record is mandatory.
